Who Provides CrewSuite

CrewSuite is provided by Far Horizon Group LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we", "us"). Contact: admin@farhorizongroup.com.

CrewSuite is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any airline, any union, or any government or regulatory body. Company, union, and aircraft names appear only to describe the data the apps work with.

Who May Use It

• CrewSuite apps — CrewCalc, CrewBook, and CrewBid — come in two kinds. Some are company-specific: built for the crew of a particular airline, with access limited to verified members of that company. Others are general versions usable by crew worldwide. Which applies depends on the app and edition you install.
• A company-specific edition requires the crew identifier for that airline when you create an account, checked against a roster or seniority reference list. One account per crew member — do not share an account, and do not register with someone else's identifier.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
• Accounts are created in the CrewSuite apps for iOS and Android. The website is sign-in only and uses the same account.

Your License to Use CrewSuite

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CrewSuite for your own personal and professional use as a crew member, on devices you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms.

Apps downloaded from the App Store or Google Play are licensed to you, not sold. Your license is also subject to that store's own usage rules, including any limit on the number of devices that may use the app under your account.

• Do not copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute CrewSuite.
• Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where local law makes that restriction unenforceable.
• Do not remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.
• We keep all rights in CrewSuite that these terms do not expressly grant you. This license covers the software, not your data — your data stays yours.

Your Account & Password

• You are responsible for your credentials and for what happens under your account.
• Your password cannot be recovered or reset by us. CrewSuite encrypts your data on your device with a key derived from your password. We never receive that key and cannot decrypt your data without it.
• If you set up the app's optional recovery phrase, it is your fallback if you forget your password: write it down and keep it somewhere safe. Without the password or the phrase, the encrypted data on our servers cannot be decrypted by anyone, including us.
• If you believe your account has been used without your permission, tell us promptly at admin@farhorizongroup.com.

Subscriptions & Billing

• The CrewSuite apps — CrewCalc, CrewBook, and CrewBid (in development) — are each a yearly auto-renewing subscription, sold separately. Each app's price is shown in that app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for another year at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged to your account within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by territory. We may change the price for future renewal periods; where the store requires it, you will be notified and asked to consent before a new price takes effect.
• We may offer promotional, discounted, or free access through store offer codes or by marking an account complimentary. These offers are discretionary, may be limited in time or number, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash.
• Refunds are handled by the store you purchased through, under that store's policy. We cannot issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases ourselves.

If Your Subscription Lapses

• Your data stays yours and stays readable. Everything already on your device — pay history, trips, registers, sick calls, logbook entries, settings — remains available to view, calculate with, and export, subscription or not.
• A lapse pauses cloud sync uploads and new data imports. Downloads keep working: you can still pull your existing vault down to a device and restore your own records.
• Changes made while lapsed are kept on your device and sync when a subscription resumes. Nothing local is deleted because a subscription ended.
• We may remove server-stored encrypted data after a long period of inactivity. Where the account has a contact route on file, we will give notice first.

Acceptable Use

• Do not try to access another user's account or data, probe or disrupt the service, or work around the account, GEMS, or subscription checks.
• Do not upload content you have no right to upload, or use CrewSuite to violate a law, a regulation, or your employer's policies.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or redistribute CrewSuite or its outputs as a competing service.
• Do not scrape, bulk-extract, or republish seniority or other reference datasets.

Your Content

You keep all rights to the data you enter or import. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service for you: storing the encrypted data you choose to sync, and processing a file you explicitly submit through the specific paths described in the Privacy & Security Policy. We do not sell your data.

Availability & Changes

• CrewSuite is run by a small operation on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee, and features may be added, changed, or withdrawn.
• We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes through a notice in the app, and the "Last updated" date above always shows the current version. Continued use after a material change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or to harm others or the service.
• You may stop using CrewSuite at any time. To delete your account and its server-stored encrypted data, contact admin@farhorizongroup.com.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrewSuite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost pay, lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use CrewSuite. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim or US$109.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

App Store Terms

• These terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple or Google. Your use of the apps is also subject to each store's own terms.
• Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for CrewSuite, and are not responsible for any product warranty, product liability, or third-party intellectual property claim relating to it. We are solely responsible for CrewSuite and for addressing any claim about it — if something is wrong, bring it to us, not the store.
• If the iOS app fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. Beyond that refund, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for CrewSuite.
• You must also comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use CrewSuite — your wireless carrier's data agreement, for example.
• Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
• You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
